ALS2011: Australian Linguistics Society Annual Conference: Conference proceedings
December 1, 2011 – December 4, 2011The Organising Committee of the ALS Conference 2011 will be publishing papers from presentations and posters at the general sessions and some workshops, as a peer-reviewed electronic volume of conference proceedings.
Peer-reviewed e-publications are good value because they combine scientific assessment with fast production process, as well as easy and free access for readers. We are currently negotiating with ANU e-Press. They offer good quality editorial practices, effective distribution, as well feed-back on impact.
We would like the electronic volume to be available on-line around mid-2012. We have set a schedule in accordance with this strategy.
If you would like your paper to be considered for publication, you will have to submit a written version of your paper of 10,000 words max. (reference, notes and data excluded) by Friday 27th January 2012.
The details of format requirements will be advised at a later date. Please note that we won't be able to accept submissions that do not comply with these requirements.
Further information will be posted on this page as it becomes available.---------------------------------------------------------------Another avenue for publication is your very own A-rated linguistics journal, The Australian Journal of Linguistics. AJL is seeking good submissions from you that will invite citation and boost AJL's impact factor. Read AJL and cite it often. Beef up your conference paper for publication and submit online athttp://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/cajl.
